Here Are The Jury Members For The 28th Tokyo International Film Festival

The 28th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) announced its jury lineup last Thursday.

This year’s panel is led by film and television director, producer, writer and actor Bryan Singer. He is best known for directing the Academy Award-winner The Usual Suspects, historical thriller Valkyrie as well as the world-renowned X-Men series.

TIFF’s jury this year also boasts Tran Anh Hung(The Scent of Green Papaya, Norwegian Wood), Bent Hamer (Kitchen Stories, 1001 Grams),Nansun Shi (The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 3D, The Taking of Tiger Mountain), Susanne Bier (After the Wedding, In a Better World) and Kazuki Omori (Disciples of Hippocrates, Godzilla vs. Biollante, Godzilla vs. King Ghidrah).

Last year’s jury was presided over by film director James Gunn (Dawn of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy), consisting of John H. Lee,  Robert Luketic, Eric Khoo, Debbie McWilliams and Hiroshi Shinagawa.

This year’s edition of the Tokyo International Film Festival will be held from October 22-31, 2015.
