The #LeoBurnettPlagiarism debacle wasn’t the only thing to result from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. It’s worth mentioning that Doghouse73 Pictures and Bartle Bogle Hegarty Singapore (BBH) bagged the Silver Lions Award at for their short film The Last Day of School (爸, 我放学了)!

TWO weeks ago, Doghouse73 Pictures began releasing horror omnibus 3 Doors of Horrors. The film project gave three young filmmakers the opportunity to direct horror shorts which were released on Youtube. We first wrote about the project earlier this month.

DOGHOUSE73 PICTURES is back with short horror trilogy 3 Doors of Horrors, with the first of its three short films to be released at 9pm on YouTube tonight!

Now in its third edition, 3 Doors of Horrors started off as a project to select three young and upcoming filmmakers to each direct a short horror film. According to Doghouse73’s James Lee, 3 Doors of Horrors provides a platform for budding filmmakers to showcase their talents.

If libraries were the repository for bookworms, then Viddsee is the go-to for aspiring filmmakers from all around Asia.

The Singapore-based Asian short film portal and mobile cinema began as an initiative by filmmakers, Ho Jia Jian and Derek Tan who felt the need to share their works online but soon realised that there was too much clutter on platforms such as Youtube and Vimeo.
