Mark Heine’s Love For Nature Shows In His Ethereal Paintings

by Tharany M.July 14, 2015

In 1961, Mark Heine was born into a family where his parents were both applied artists and designers.

Mark grew up wandering through the studio, along the way learning about projects his parents worked on. It has always been about art from the very day he was born.

During his childhood, he spent most of his time on the beautiful beaches of Vancouver Island. Living in an area with such breathtaking natural beauty, a strong sense of appreciation for the environment diffused into him – an appreciation which is also present in his artworks.

Writing has also been part of Mark’s thing for a long time – look up Amanda, a short story he’s written. Mark Heine’s art and writing are all published on his website.
